Blonde on Basically Ginger est né de l’envie de Thos Henley et Judah Warsky d’enregistrer un album de piano-pop, sous influence de Carole King, Billy Joel, et surtout celui qu’ils considèrent comme le Roi du genre : Paul Williams. Incroyablement, quelques jours plus tard, Thos croise Paul Williams et passe la soirée avec lui, complètement par hasard. Cette bizarre coïncidence est un signe. Ce qui n’était encore qu’un vague projet devient une nécessité impérieuse : il FAUT faire ce disque. C’était écrit.

Blonde on Basically Ginger was born from the desire of Thos Henley and Judah Warsky to record a piano-pop album, under the influence of Carole King, Billy Joel, and especially the one they consider as the King of the genre: Paul Williams . Incredibly, a few days later, Thos bumps into Paul Williams and spends the evening with him, completely by chance. This bizarre coincidence is a sign. What was still a vague project becomes a pressing necessity: this record MUST be made. It was written.
