Gareth Coker is a British composer and producer working in Los Angeles. He is known for his melodically driven scores, unique soundscapes, and attention to detail and execution in the application of how music emotionally relates and connects to a game's players. His approach is particularly sought out for his ability to establish iconic franchise-defining sonic identities whether it be through thematic content, or aesthetic design, for new intellectual properties. Across multiple differing styles and games, his acclaimed scores have garnered numerous awards, including the Ivor Novello Award for Best Original Video Game Score (twice), Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences Award for Outstanding Music Composition, the SXSW Award for Excellence in Musical Score (twice), and multiple Game Audio Network Guild awards. He has received multiple nominations from BAFTA, GDC, and the IFMCA, amongst others. 

Works include Ori and the Blind Forest (2015) / Ori and the Will of the Wisps (2020), all music for the ARK franchise across TV and games, (2015-), The Ruined King (2021) and The Mageseeker (2023) for the League of Legends universe, Halo Infinite (2020), Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope (2022), Immortals Fenyx Rising (2020-2021), Darksiders Genesis (2019). He has also written multiple soundtrack albums for various Minecraft expansions (2016-2019), and contributed to Insomniac Games' VR title The Unspoken (2017). Most recently he co-scored Ubisoft's Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. He continues to work in both the AAA + independent gaming spaces.
