Description
“Ed Spinning” is a 90’s hip-hop beats project, pressed on 45 RPM vinyl.
The concept draws inspiration from the party mixes that were heavy in the mid-90s: hard looping beats, head-sticking vocal cuts, DJ-ready edits from a time when digital didn’t exist yet (think AV8 series).
For these two new volumes, production is handled by Ugly Mac Beer. Two tracks per side: main vocal on the A-side, full instrumental on the B-side, plus bonus drum loops hitting right from the intro. Raw hip-hop bangers, lo-fi boom bap, the way it was done back then — for the real ones.
The titles and visuals tap into the BMW E30, mixed with spinning: endless loops, burnouts, tires smoking — just like the beats on the turntables.
