SHOLTO, praised by Gilles Peterson, returns with his third album in three years, The Sirens, following the epic double album Letting Go of Forever (2024). The album explores rhythmic dreamscapes, blending ethereal textures, strings, harp, and jazz harmonies, transforming his sonic signature into a feverish, haunting dream across 12 tracks. SHOLTO’s dramatic vocal interplay and rhythmic sensitivity create a deeply cinematic atmosphere, where each piece captures the essence of a universe that feels both intimate and expansive.
Recorded at the SFJ studio in Hackney, the album brings together a familiar cast, true to SHOLTO’s communal spirit and cohesive sound.
