Description

L’Entourloop’s album Le Savoir Faire is the culmination of carefully crafted projects, developed in utmost secrecy and featuring a lineup of sharp collaborations including Panda Dub, Kill Emil, The Architect, Biga*Ranx, Marina P, Demolition Man, Tippa Irie, Soom T, Rodney P, and more.

Raised in the open air since 1964, Sir James and King Johnny are the iconic frontmen of the enigmatic collective known as L’Entourloop. These seasoned veterans, shaped by the golden age of sound systems, vinyl culture, and the epic dialogues of classic cinema, serve up a masterful fusion of reggae and hip hop. As beatmakers, they skillfully weave together samples, layered with scratching and a signature vintage French touch that transports listeners from France to Kingston, London, and New York.

They first made waves with tracks like “Dreader Than Dread” featuring Skarra Mucci and “Back In Town” featuring Jamalski, as well as through powerful remixes like Capleton’s “Burn Dem Down.” Following the release of a mixtape, a Summermix, and the Back In Town EP, they dropped their debut album Chickens in Your Town in 2015—a clever blend of genres ranging from hip hop to reggae, with guest appearances from Gavlyn, Ruffian Rugged, and Youthstar.

After electrifying more than 300 stages around the world, the tireless duo returns—joined by their longtime comrades MC Troy Berkley and trumpet player N’Zeng—with a brand-new high-energy live show that delivers a potent dose of rhythm, groove, and good vibes.
