Returning to her roots, this latest single embraces the signature tropical reggae/pop sound that put Hollie on the map with her first two albums. With a career that has only grown stronger since those early days, the energy, charisma, and confidence she’s gained over the years are now unmistakably on display.
Recorded at Crosstown Studios in London with the band General Roots, and produced, mixed, and dubbed by Ben McKone, Night Night tells the story of a lonely lover’s yearning. Anchored by a thunderous bassline, bold guitars and shimmering keyboards provide a sunny contrast. Hollie’s soft and sensual tones shine throughout, joined once again by the legendary Horseman for a celebratory toast—a collaboration not seen since her debut album.
In true reggae fashion, the 7" single comes with a classic dub mix, complete with echoing reverb and spacious delays, giving Hollie and Horseman an even more expansive and stripped-back flow.
