In the music industry, direct-to-fan is the equivalent of short circuit in food. It's like buying fruits and vegetables directly from the producer.

Like the short food circuit, the direct-to-fan purchase guarantees fairer remuneration for artists and labels (about 75% of a direct-to-fan sale goes to the producer), allowing them to sustain the development of their artistic projects.

The number of intermediaries is reduced to a minimum and transport costs, as well as the associated CO2 emissions, are optimized.

This new direct sales channel also makes it possible to fill cultural deserts and to receive your disc on the day of its official release thanks to pre-orders.

Description
O’o are the Barcelona-based duo of French musicians Victoria Suter and Mathieu Daubigné. Taking their name from a now extinct songbird once worshiped by Hawaiian kings, their music combines analogue synthesizers, live instrumentation, vocal harmonies and drones to construct rich and organic textures.

'Touche' inhabits the sonic hinterland where great pop meets the avant garde, and delectable melodies nestle gently with found sounds, musical moods and synthy atmospheres. Comparisons can be drawn with contemporaries like James Blake, Bjork, Laurie Anderson and even Lorde, though such an exercise is reductive given that O’o sound very much in a sonic universe all of their own. ‘Touche’ is subtle, nuanced, clever but never arch, emotional but never melodramatic.
