Mac Declos is a french artist, Parisian-based, dj and producer of electronic music.
Born into a world where rhythm and melody were as natural as breathing, Mac Declos was destined to become a musical force. With a blues guitarist father and a singer-dancer mother, Mac’s childhood was a haven for artistic expression. By the age of five, he was already absorbing these influences, finding his first love in hip-hop dance—a passion that quickly revealed his prodigious talent for timing and musicality. Mac's artistic journey began in contemporary dance, where he earned a degree from the esteemed Centre Chorégraphique National of Roubaix. However, his boundless curiosity soon drew him to the world of house and then electronic music. The transition was effortless; as a former professional dancer, Mac understands the essence of groove.
At just 21, Mac had already made waves in the electronic music scene, winning two major music competitions and earning coveted spots at the Nördik Impakt and Astropolis festivals. His rise was nothing short of meteoric, playing across Europe at iconic venues such as Rex Club in Paris, Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, and Fuse in Brussels. This year, his journey expanded to Asia, where he performed at top clubs like Faust in Seoul, Headquarters in Singapore, and Pawnshop in Taipei. He also delivered a standout performance at the Pitch Music and Arts Festival in Melbourne. The summer of 2024 saw Mac elevate his career even further with a celebrated Boiler Room set at the Glitch Festival in Malta, following fantastic gigs at Stone Techno in Essen, Peacock Society Festival in Paris, and Habitat Festival in Hamburg.
With a brilliant sound that defies expectations, Mac Declos quickly became known for his intense, precise, and technical techno sets: he’s a natural. His ability to blend mental and physical grooves with such finesse sets him apart as a virtuoso, a master of his craft. About to release his second album on Mama Told Ya, Mac Declos has remained relentlessly creative. In spring 2025, he unveiled Angel Eyes, a co-produced EP with Pablo Bozzi on Second Sight, a release that fused emotional depth with dancefloor energy. A year earlier, in spring 2024, he dropped Endless Cycle on XX Lab, a pulsating EP packed with club-ready tracks that reaffirmed his deep connection to the rave experience. These recent releases are part of a steady evolution that continues to shape Mac’s singular voice in electronic music. His acclaimed 2022 EP Cuir en Cage on Myst and his debut album Hard Work Always Pays Off (Mama Told Ya, 2023) already positioned him as a bold and technically skilled producer. Collaborations with key figures like Anetha, François X, Kuss, and Lacchesi have further showcased his versatility and cemented his role as one of the scene’s most exciting and dynamic talents.
