Description
The Simps are multi-platinum garage-rock superstar Eyedress and his long-time collaborator, LA-born guitarist and songwriter zzzahara. The duo described their demos as “Simp music”, thus spawned the name of the group. This is the long-delayed physical release of their February 2022 album Siblings.
The duo have a combined 15 million Spotify monthly listeners. The album contains the hit track “On Fye” which has amassed 50 million streams across DSPs. The FADER described the album as “dreamy and blissed out ... a singular document of gen-Z hypnagogic pop.” Tracks received airplay on KEXP, KCRW, Apple Music 1 & BBC 6Music.
Eyedress and zzzahara are both on tour separately but performing Simps tracks in their live sets. Eyedress plays LA and Chigaco this fall, following a run of summer shows in LA, NYC & Atlanta.
zzzahara drops their sophomore solo album Tender on September 22 with shows in San Francisco, Substance Festival in LA & Freakout Festival in Seattle following a European run. Siblings is available for the first time on 180g Bubblegum Pink vinyl, Hot Pink cassette & CD. Cover art by Bad Buzz.
