In the music industry, direct-to-fan is the equivalent of short circuit in food. It's like buying fruits and vegetables directly from the producer.

Like the short food circuit, the direct-to-fan purchase guarantees fairer remuneration for artists and labels (about 75% of a direct-to-fan sale goes to the producer), allowing them to sustain the development of their artistic projects.

The number of intermediaries is reduced to a minimum and transport costs, as well as the associated CO2 emissions, are optimized.

This new direct sales channel also makes it possible to fill cultural deserts and to receive your disc on the day of its official release thanks to pre-orders.

Description
To follow up on the ROADS series, it is in the Faroe Islands that the prodigy of the French electro scene, Thylacine, decided to record his new EP on board his Airstream caravan. This volume 2 is the continuation of a creative journey whose story begins on the Transsiberian, the famous train which connects Moscow to Vladivostock in which he recorded his first album (2015) which revealed it to the general public.


After following the Andes Cordillera on the Argentinian side to write his second album, Roads Vol.1, Thylacine repeated the experience to deliver these four new titles which wonderfully tell the powerful and wild environment of the Faroe Islands.


Eysturoy subtly combines the aerial melodies of Moderat with the techno power of a Paul Kalkbrenner. We discover the incredible voice of the Faroese diva Eivør. Saksun transports in Nordic atmospheres with the presence of ropes in an ethereal and minimalist style. Stormur recalls the hypnotic tablecloths of a Jon Hopkins. Alda projects a bewitching electronica where Thylacine's instrument of choice, the saxophone, mixes with the sound of the waves.
