In the music industry, direct-to-fan is the equivalent of short circuit in food. It's like buying fruits and vegetables directly from the producer.

Like the short food circuit, the direct-to-fan purchase guarantees fairer remuneration for artists and labels (about 75% of a direct-to-fan sale goes to the producer), allowing them to sustain the development of their artistic projects.

The number of intermediaries is reduced to a minimum and transport costs, as well as the associated CO2 emissions, are optimized.

This new direct sales channel also makes it possible to fill cultural deserts and to receive your disc on the day of its official release thanks to pre-orders.

In summary, as soon as the Direct-to-fan tag appears, it means that we are the only intermediary between the artists / labels and yourself.

Description

"L'été suivant" is the fourth and latest album from Limousine. The band maintains the mistery around their innovative music between Jazz and Pop.

David Aknin (drums), Laurent Bardainne (saxophone, keyboards), Maxime Delpierre (guitar) and Frédéric Soulard (keyboards) came together around a common desire, about fifteen years ago; that of playing elsewhere than in the haunts of radical and improvised music. The desire to be entertained by freely interpreting jazz and pop standards more than a specific aesthetic or repertoire. Jazz, dub, kraut, synth-pop, we hear a little of all of this over the course of “L'été suivant”
