About Disk Union

Since 1979, Disk Union has been sharing its passion for music with collectors and enthusiasts in Japan.

With 47 stores across Japan, including 44 in the Tokyo area, Disk Union has built a unique network of general and specialty record shops over the years, each with its own universe, experts, and treasures to discover.

Rock, City Pop, Jazz, Soul, Punk, Hip-Hop, classical music, world music, electronic music, Reggae, film or anime soundtracks, and even video game music: every passion has its own section, store, and often its own specialist.

You will find new and used vinyl and CDs, as well as DVDs and Blu-rays, books and fanzines dedicated to music, accessories, merchandise, and exclusive Disk Union products.

But beyond the quantity and diversity of its selection, Disk Union primarily champions a certain vision of the record store: taking your time, searching, browsing, stumbling upon a record you didn't know, and leaving with an unexpected discovery. The joy of digging is at the heart of the experience.
