Le groupe était actif dans le mouvement de gauche au Liban à l’époque et communiquait franchement ses idées politiques. Malheureusement, comme beaucoup de musiciens des années 1970, il ne reste pas beaucoup de traces sur eux, encore moins sur Internet. De nos jours, Hajali vend des bijoux en argent, principalement de sa destination de voyage préférée, le Népal. Issam Hajali a dû quitter le Liban après l’intervention syrienne pour des raisons politiques et a passé un an en exil en France. Durant cette période, il a eu du mal à joindre les deux bouts en jouant de la guitare dans le métro. Il ne pouvait se permettre qu’un jour de studio pour enregistrer le projet dans son ensemble avec un groupe de musiciens français, un algérien, un iranien et un ami de Beyrouth, Roger Fahr, qui avait quitté le Liban à peu près au même moment. Finalement, cet album perdu est tombé entre les mains de Ziad Rahbani, fils de Fairuz et d’une institution musicale libanaise à part entière. Ziad a beaucoup aimé la musique et a joué dans la plupart des versions de Ferkat Al Ard. He later said that his visit to Japan and especially the manga culture left a distinctive mark on the way he created his own compositions.
