Direct-to-fan

In the music industry, direct-to-fan is the equivalent of short circuit in food. It's like buying fruits and vegetables directly from the producer.

Like the short food circuit, the direct-to-fan purchase guarantees fairer remuneration for artists and labels (about 75% of a direct-to-fan sale goes to the producer), allowing them to sustain the development of their artistic projects.

The number of intermediaries is reduced to a minimum and transport costs, as well as the associated CO2 emissions, are optimized.

This new direct sales channel also makes it possible to fill cultural deserts and to receive your disc on the day of its official release thanks to pre-orders.

In summary, as soon as the Direct-to-fan tag appears, it means that we are the only intermediary between the artists / labels and yourself.

Rone

French electronic music producer Erwan Castex a.k.a. Rone was born in 1980 near Paris. Spotted by the InFiné label, Rone released his debut Bora – EP in 2008, and was followed in 2009 by his acclaimed debut album Spanish Breakfast. His second album Tohu Bohu (2012), composed when living in Berlin, features the international hits Parade and Bye Bye Macadam. Back in Paris after touring the world, Rone composed Creatures (2015), featuring collaborations with The National guitarist Bryce Dessner, French pop icon Étienne Daho, and more. Early 2017, Rone presented a unique creation at the Philharmonie de Paris where he invited friend artists to join the show: John Stanier (Battles), François Marry (Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains), Alain Damasio and the Vacarme trio. The experience was the spark that started Mirapolis, Rone’s fourth studio album in which his neat production blends in perfectly with guest talents KAZU, Saul Williams, Noga Erez, Baxter Dury, Bryce Dessner and John Stanier. 2020 marks a new turn in the artist’s career, starting off with a ten-day carte blanche creation at Paris’ Théâtre du Châtelet with the Ballet National de Marseille. The narrative of the show tackles global issues such as global warming and collapse were the main inspiration for Rone’s fifth album Room with a View, an opus in which he felt the need to connect with his early work of purely instrumental electronic music. Rone has shown throughout his career an ability to combine his music with other art forms such as literature with Alain Damasio, photography with Stéphane Couturier or contemporary dance with the collective (La)Horde. As for moving images, he composed the soundtracks of Vladimir Mavounia-Kouka’s animated films La Femme à cordes (2010), La Bête (2014) and I Want Pluto to be a planet again (2016). In 2015, he was the first musician to release a VR videoclip for his track Quitter la ville. Besides, he composed the following year the soundtrack of the first French VR fiction : I, Philip by Pierre Zandrowicz (2016). In 2020, he composed the soundtrack for Frédéric Farrucci’s” La Nuit Venue” for which he won the 2021 César for Best Original Score. Early 2021 he produced his second soundtrack for Jacques Audiard ́s “Les Olympiades” (Paris, 13th District) and won the Cannes Soundtrack. He was nominated for the second year in a row at the French César Awards for this new original soundtrack.
