The battle goes on for ISK, who continues his rise on the French rap scene with a trilogy of EPs entitled “Hannibal”, a reference to the Carthaginian general Hannibal Barca, famous for his tactical and strategic genius during his various battles. Through these 3 projects with an evolving narrative ending on May 23 (release of the last part - 12 tracks), we're about to follow the story of the little boy featured on the cover of part 1, born in the war, up to his ascension in this part 3. The tone is set from the very first notes: the rapper from 77 arrives determined on the battlefield, ready to take on anyone who gets in his way.
Always well accompanied when it comes to cutting prods, ISK is never afraid to confront the different generations of artists who have made French rap great: from Kaaris to Soprano via La Fouine, RK, YL and even Lesram. But also by calling on up-and-coming rookies such as Mola, KLM, JRK 19 and Saïf, no name will make our MC pale in comparison behind the mic. With his unfailing versatility, alternating aggressive rap and melodious choruses, he also knows how to be melancholy and personal on calmer tracks, allowing him to open up about social issues. A strong, complete project that illustrates the talent of an artist in full command of his art.
