The dancer and choreographer, accompanied by six dancers, uses dance and song to explore the unspoken, the marginalisation and the representation of women musicians from the Middle Ages to the present day by summoning historical and contemporary figures such as Kassia of Constantinople, Barbara Strozzi, Giovanna Marini and Clara Schuman... \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e“In concrete terms,\" says Chloé, \"I composed the music by taking on board the songs of the dancers, drawing and reworking the voices from the repertoire of all the women composers who have been silenced by history. It’s a collective work, with Maud Le Pladec and Tom Pauwels (of the Ictus Ensemble), and we built on it as we rehearsed and developed the piece. The voices, their choices and reinterpretations were able to evolve into the music that I was composing.” Immersed in the creation and the work-in-progress nature of this show, Chloé has imagined a soundtrack based on song. She uses the performers’ scansions, whispers, performances and breath to graft unification and coherence to a show which calls on song as much as on music and dance. Like in \"Spectrum Reload\", a drawn out, ambient and incantatory opening piece, vibrant with vocal choirs and drones that gradually brings to light this female constellation which is referred to in the title of the piece. This introduction gives way to \"Twice A Womxn\", a distillation of mental and repetitive electronics, in the form of an \"affirmation break\" according to Chloé, which places the subject at the heart of the scene before the edgy \"Dark Room\", the physical climax plunging us into the whirl and sweat of the club, draws the curtain. With this new EP, released on her label Lumière Noire, Chloé unveils a more abstract and cerebral facet of her work with these three reworked tracks: committed and adventurous, but just as exciting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAprès avoir invité Chloé Thévenin à collaborer à la bande originale de son spectacle « Static Shot » (2020), Maud Le Pladec fait de nouveau appel à la productrice et DJ pour « counting stars with you (musiques femmes) ». Une nouvelle création ambitieuse, militante et féministe, conçue pour la saison 2021 de Montpellier Danse.\n\u003cbr\u003eLa danseuse et chorégraphe, accompagnée de six interprètes, explore à travers la danse et le chant les silences de l’histoire, la marginalisation et la représentation des femmes compositrices et musiciennes du Moyen  ge à nos jours, en convoquant des figures historiques et contemporaines telles que Kassia de Constantinople, Barbara Strozzi, Giovanna Marini ou encore Clara Schumann…\n\u003cbr\u003e« Concrètement, explique Chloé, j’ai composé la musique en intégrant les chants des danseuses, en prélevant et en retravaillant les voix issues du répertoire de toutes ces compositrices oubliées ou réduites au silence par l’histoire. C’est un travail collectif, mené avec Maud Le Pladec et Tom Pauwels (de l’Ictus Ensemble), et nous avons continué à le construire au fil des répétitions et de l’évolution de la pièce. Les voix, leurs choix et leurs réinterprétations ont ainsi pu évoluer avec la musique que je composais. »\n\u003cbr\u003ePlongée au cœur du processus de création et de cette œuvre en devenir, Chloé imagine une bande-son fondée sur le chant. Elle utilise les scansions, les murmures, les performances vocales et les respirations des interprètes pour apporter unité et cohérence à une pièce qui fait appel autant à la voix qu’à la musique et à la danse.\n\u003cbr\u003eÀ l’image de « Spectrum Reload », morceau d’ouverture étiré, ambient et incantatoire, traversé par des chœurs vocaux et des nappes continues qui font progressivement émerger cette constellation féminine évoquée dans le titre de la pièce. Cette introduction laisse place à « Twice A Womxn », une condensation d’électronique mentale et répétitive, décrite par Chloé comme une « affirmation break », qui place le sujet au centre de la scène.
